A good example of a professional webpage
You can easily create a website by following this simple steps. Websites are made from something called "tags".
Tags are pieces of a website. For example, you will need to use img tag if you want to insert picture on your website. There are several tags as well; the link tags for inserting links and if you need to put button on your website then you need a button tag and so on like that.
One way to create a tag is to press the less than sign < and for example the paragraph tag is represented with p and then add the greater than sign >. That is a tag used to create paragraph on website. Like this 👇

But mind you, there is a special tag we need to start our website, it's called the doctype tag. The formula is <!doctype html> we are going to talk about this tag later but this tag is very essential because it will tell our browser what type of document it's trying to look up.
The next is called the "HTML tag" this is the basic of any website, because all the entire website is going directly in between the HTML tag. The formula is <html></html> and below it another HTML tag that is slightly different and the different is, the first one is the open tag while the second is open tag while the second one with / forward splash is the close tag.
Every single webpage is made up of two parts; the first part is called the "head" while the second is called "body".
The head: is where all the browser information goes, the technical stuffs you don't see when u get to webpage and it includes; keywords for search engines, the title of the webpage and other browser Info's.
The body: contains the pictures, the paragraph, text, links etc.
Let's create a title in the head tag;

Study the above example very well, you don't really need to memorize it right now because you will soon get used to it. But, make sure you always follow the formula. The doctype tag followed by the HTML tag then the head open and close tags, the title open and close tags then the body open and close tags and lastly the html close tag.
Now, let's preview our new website, to do this you need to save your file. It's very easy, go ahead and press "file" and click on "save as" and the advisable place to save your file is desktop or internal memory of your phone (in case you're using anWrite android text editor). It's very important to name your file "index" because it's the main name for homepage and make sure you save as HTML file. We can preview our website on web browser.
