Welcome to our 9th html tutorial and this tutorial is going to be awesome because we are going to finally cover how to add images to our webpage. We can't have a website without images, it makes it look dorm.
In other to add image to our webpage, of course we need an image or images depending on the numbers of images we going to use. You can go ahead and copy any picture on your mobile phone or PC and make sure you write the name down.
NOTE: make sure you paste your picture in the same folder where you have your index file.
In other to add image, the next thing to do after we might have copied and pasted our images in our internal storage folder as illustrated below, is to create an image tag and the special tag for images is img. Image is one of the single tags, which means it has only the close tag. Images have one attribute which is the src (source) it basically means what file you'd like to use and within the src attribute you will type the name of your image, mine is crix.png yours might be different.

Let's go ahead and preview our website, now we have an image.
Say we want to add a link to the image, so that when we click on the image it will take us to another website or another page. All we need to do is to surround the whole image tag with an anchor tag as illustrated below.
